We had the first round photo shoot yesterday. It went very well!
The amazing photographers — Kina Williams and Rebecca Bateman did a fabulous job with the models. The models, by the way, were adorable in all different shapes, sizes, gender presentations and ethnicities.
The shoot was down at the Burnside Skate Park, a great industrial area surrounding a community-run skate park. Lots of glorious nooks and crannies for backdrops. There was a lovely fellow there taking pictures of his kids skating, and he wandered around taking shots of the shoot itself. He was kind enough to send them to me this morning, so I’m posting them here as a teaser for the amazing shots to come! Thanks, Greg Artman!
